New SLIPKNOT Song, "XIX" Is Most Emo Track Yet Off .5: The Gray Chapter

On Friday, we called the new Slipknot track "Custer" the heaviest yet off their new album, .5: The Gray Chapter.

Well if that was the heaviest, today's unveiling of "XIX" is clearly the most emo(tional) track so far. "XIX" serves as the intro track for the new record and it's almost a power ballad. In our track-by-track review, Greg Kennelty accurately describes it by saying "The song builds and builds, edging toward total paranoia, and finally arrives at… nothing."

For some reason, we can't embed the track but you can hear it on Slipknot's official website.

So far, in addition to "XIX" and "Custer," we've heard "The Devil In I" and "The Negative One."

You can get "XIX" as an instant download when you pre-order the new album on iTunes.
