Today Is The Day, the band headed up by mastermind Steve Austin, will release their first new album since 2014 titled No Good To Anyone sometime in February 2020. While we await further details about the record, definitely check out the heady, heavy title track below. Which of course Austin is quite stoked about.
“I fuckin’ love my new album, No Good To Anyone. I wanted to make the heaviest and most rocking, psychedelic songs possible. To take you on a trip. Anything goes at any second. No Good To Anyone is an experience. No Good To Anyone is beginning of the end of your life.”
This should also spur you to check out Today Is The Day's extensive back catalog. Austin has been at this since 1992 and has put out a lot of pretty great stuff. Interesting fact about Today Is The Day – Mastodon bassist Bill Kelliher and drummer Brann Dailor were both in the band in 1999, one year prior to Mastodon forming!
