Phil Anselmo's darker/heavier/grindier project Scour has released a new track that features guest vocals from Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa.

Momoa appears on the track "Doom" which also features a guest solo from Hate Eternal guitarist Erik Rutan. Scour also features Pig Destroyer's Adam Jarvis on drums, Agoraphobic Nosebleed bassist John Jarvis, and guitarists Mark Kloeppel (Misery Index) and Derek Engemann.

Momoa and Anselmo became fast friends when they met at the final Slayer show last year. Anselmo was opening for Slayer, and Momoa hopped on stage to join in on a cover of "This Love." We'd like to assume that's what led to this collaboration.

Momoa's love for heavy metal is no secret. He's been spotted getting bass lessons from Primus' Les Claypool, and personally handpicked the band Archspire to be featured in his new series, See.

"Doom" appears on Scour's The Black EP, out on Black Friday, November 27.
