It was revealed earlier this week that Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares would join Soulfly for their upcoming tour in place of guitarist Marc Rizzo. At the time it wasn't clear if Rizzo was still in the band or why he was sitting out, but now it's starting to come together a little more.
Rizzo has just launched a new band called Hail The Horns alongside bassist Tony Campos (Static-X, Fear Factory, Soulfly) and drummer Christian "Opus" Lawrence (Dead By Wednesday). The band is streaming a cover of "God Of Thunder" by Kiss with Campos on vocals, and will hit the road briefly this November.
As far as we know right now, Rizzo is still a member of Soulfly.
