August Burns Red always stood out from the pack for me because they always wrote very catchy and heavy songs. And of course, they always made sure to keep things melodic.
Not much has changed as the band prepares its sixth studio release, Found in Far Away Places due June 30 on their new label home, Fearless Records. The band have released the opening track of the record, and it kicks off with a serious breakdown.
Guitarist JB Brubaker describes the song to Billboard thusly:
"It's fast and heavy while discussing how our planet is being destroyed by the gross misuse of our resources, and the general apathy of the human race when it comes to caring for the Earth."
