If you managed to catch Metallica at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on July 29, you got to hear an interesting addition to the band's setlist – a cover of Van Halen's "Runnin' With The Devil." Metallica did the cover as a tribute to Van Halen, as they're from Pasadena, though James Hetfield cuts the cover short because "that's all I can sing."
On the contrary, Hetfield killed it and I highly doubt he'd all of a sudden stop killing it after that section.
