It's no secret Dave Mustaine moved Nashville to help his daughter Electra start a country music career. (Here she is doing a country version of Megadeth's "I Thought I Knew It All.") Well, it seems Dave has made some friends around those parts, and has been hanging out in some studios.
Mustaine lended some licks to a new country song from Canadian singer/songwriter Brett Kissel. The song itself sounds to me, a newb when it comes to country, like a pretty by-the-numbers pop country song, so don't get your hopes up too much:
Mustaine is keeping busy, with talks of bringing back his touring festival Gigantour in 2018.
