Freya already has a pretty solid lineup, with ex-War Of Attrition guitarist Brendon Flynn and bassist Bill Bodily, as well as Earth Crisis/Path Of Resistance frontman Karl Buechner, but now that lineup just got a little better. The band recently recruited the ever-busy, current Megadeth and former Soilwork (among a billion other bands) drummer Dirk Verbeuren for its new album Grim.
Grim will be out September 30 via Fast Break! Records, and you can hear a little bit of its heaviness below. Kudos to the band and engineer Jason "Jocko" Randall of More Sound Recording Studio for making Verbeuren's drums sound great and present without burying the rest of the band, or at least they did on the trailer below.
