Lady Gaga-Approved LAZER/WULF Release Killer Track from Palindrome Concept Album

This is some great shred!

This is some great shred!

One of the big stories coming out of SXSW this year was Lady Gaga crashing a Lazer/Wulf show and jamming out to their brand of unique shred.

I know you might be like Lazer who? Or you might be like da fuck does Gaga know?

But Gaga knows!

You see, Lazer/Wulf are doing something really cool on their next album, they are doing a musical palindrome. What does that mean? Allow the band to explain it:

The nine-track album is written as a palindrome, that is, it is the same backwards and forwards with two distinct halves, Left and Right. For instance, the first song on the album, "Choose Again," uses the exact same chords, riffs and drum tracks as the final song on the album, "Mutual End" but one is major and the other is minor. As the band explains it, "The idea is that either way you choose, Left or Right, the paths are the same."

Pretty nuts, right? I'm totally into it. Recently, the band released the "center piece" of the album, which would be the eye of the palindrome hurricane and it's pretty great:

See? Gaga knows! Their new album, The Beast Of Left And Right is out July 15th on Retro Futurist.
