KING 810's New Track, "Eyes" Showcases The Band's Softer Side

KING 810 do ballads.

KING 810 do ballads.

When I saw King 810 last week at Mayhem Fest, it finally clicked for me. While the group takes what they do very seriously, it comes off like an art project to me. It's very comparable to Ghost, but they trade the church aesthetic for a gangster aesthetic. Their live show was impressive. Yes, there were guys with oozies, but they were just on stage for a brief period. There were costume changes and odd dance numbers. It was art, or at least attempting to be.

Further showcasing the band's range, they just released the ballad-esque track "Eyes" which you can hear below…

Not too shabby, but overall, I prefer the heavier tracks on the album. YES, MY OPINION ON KING CHANGED! I still don't think people should be carving K's into their bodies though.

Memoirs Of A Murderer is out August 19th on Roadrunner.
