I love that a few years ago a few fans decided to mark June 6, 2006 as International Slayer Day (6/6/6 duh!) and ever since then it's become an annual holiday to celebrate one of the most influential bands of all time.
This year seems extra special with the recent loss of founding guitarist Jeff Hanneman. To mark the occasion, Kerry King posted a touching new video tribute to his friend:
