Katatonia will be releasing what I'd imagine will be one of the best records of 2016 next week, which is a statement made solely off the fact that everything we've heard thus far has been ridiculously good. Today you get to hear the band's new single "Serac," not to be confused with the prior single "Serein."
The new song is easily the heaviest one we've heard from the record so far, and the bass tone kind of reminds me a bit of Isis. Not to mention it's one of the band's longest songs in a pretty long time, at least 10 years or so if memory serves correctly?
Katatonia will release The Fall of Hearts on May 20 via Peaceville Records.
