Evan Brewer is simply th bassist and composer a lot of musicians aspire to be, and it shows on the trailer for his upcoming record Your Itinerary.

This just makes me feel like a bad musician. I wasn't really a huge fan of his first solo album given that it was all just bass and stuff, which isn't bad given his proficiency and all, but it just felt boring and whatever to me.
The new stuff is a massive step in the right direction! Go check out the other two studio videos he posted for the album and really get into the clips he presents. They're different than this video, so between all three you get a solid understanding of what the album is really getting at.
I think this might end up as on of my favorite records this year if it's half as good as I think it's going to be.
