Remember when last week, Atilla's Chris Fronzak bitched about how if his new album "doesn't blow the fuck up" he will quit music…well, if the first single is any indication, it's time to start packing your bags, buddy.
Show of hands, who rolled their eyes at least 5 times within the first 10 seconds of the song? I thought so.
What follows is another repetitive breakdown that we've all heard 50 times before followed my more of the same. I'm sure the Atilla fanbase will eat this up, and to be honest, it's not that different than much of the deathcore out on the scene today, but for the love of God, can't we try something new? I guess the hook, if you can call it that, says it all…"give no fucks" and later "Until the haters suck my fuckin’ cock!" So eloquent.
Now I'm imagining a scenarior where Fronzak's family is gathered around the kitchen table talking about their lives and young Chris talks about writing the next big anthem in heavy music with the best lyric he's ever written, which he is proud of… “You can do anything you want in life, just don’t be a fuckin’ bitch!”
Mama Fronzak must be so proud.
