Using your cellphone at a concert has become a controversial issue in 2016. Apple recently filed patents so concert venues can lock your photo/video capabilites, and these new phone condoms are out in the marketplace, preventing you from accessing your phone. But if those don't work, just send Corey Taylor.
Slipknot, who are currently out on tour with Marilyn Manson, posted this brief video of Taylor on stage spotting a fan in the front row immersed in his cellphone and he did the only thing he could think of… knock the phone out of the kid's hands.
I'm of two minds on this situation. On the one hand, it's kind of rude to be sitting front row at a massive concert and just spend the time on your phone. On the other hand, as we've learned with the recent Disturbed situation, sometimes people have a perfectly valid reason for texting. And, the guy paid his money, he's entitled to do whatever hell he wants.
If you're gonna text, stay home. https://t.co/w8BLHWci5n

Okay. But it doesn't mean I w/ a broken neck & still playing a show can't get pissed that someone's ignoring it. https://t.co/NRcJYhE0sc
