Periphery recently announced their new album, Juggernaut will actually be a double album going under the monikers of ‘Juggernaut: Alpha’ and ‘Juggernaut: Omega.' Today, we get our first taste of new music with the track, "The Scourge" and you can immediately hear the progression in the band's sound. This track comes off the first half of the album, Alpha.

There are heavy moments but overall it seems they are going for a more hard rock vibe which we got our first tastes of on the Clear EP. Overall, I'm really digging the tune and look forward the hearing the whole album. This is an excellent first taste and I hope there is more crunchiness and heaviness ahead.
