Nü-Metal is officially back, with a vengeance. First, JNCOs are being restocked, now this. Today, Coal Chamber premiered the first track from their highly anticipated (?) new album, Rivals over at Loudwire. The moment you hit play, it hits you… this is 100% nü-metal:
Look, it's not "Stairway To Heaven" but it's certainly a listenable track. The production, helmed by Mark Lewis, is top notch and the riff is pretty catchy. Coal Chamber are doing it correctly. It sounds like something new, but still has throwback qualities.
