You can't have death metal without the word, and most certainly the band, Death. Chuck Schuldiner's role in the development of one of metal's most extreme genres can never diminished. Without his genius and his fellow band mates, we may not have the same kind of metal that we are so grateful to have today. Throughout its illustrious 18-year career, Death released seven studio albums. You may pick and choose which is the best or your favorite, but every album has its significance.
Relapse Records recently posted a full album stream of Death's second studio album, Leprosy. This stream is a reissued and remastered version of the album, giving you a higher, albeit digital, quality of the record. Leprosy features classic songs like "Pull the Plug" and "Open Casket"; the latter of which almost caused me to crash my car once, that's a story for another time.
Check out the album below! Revel in nostalgia, bang your head, and please do it when you're not operating a vehicle.
