DieHumane is the band featuring vocalist Garret West (ex-Anova Skyway), lead guitarist Rick Hunolt (ex-Exodus), bassist and guitarist Joshua Vargas, keyboardist Greg Hilligiest, and drummer Sal Abruscato (A Pale Horse Named Death, ex-Type O Negative, ex-Life Of Agony). The band is now streaming their debut album The Grotesque, produced by Ulrich Wild and sure to give you a sore neck by the end of its runtime.

"We are proud to finally release our debut album, The Grotesque, into the world," writes DieHumane about the record. "To most people, this is something new. To us, it's the culmination of a lot of work. These songs began recording in November of 2020 and wrapped recording in February 2022.

"We are very proud of this album. I can guarantee not ONE note of this album was written with 'What are people going to think/expect?' in mind. We didn't give a shit what was popular, didn't give a damn what was in vogue with the world of metal or what people wanted to hear. This record was written 100% from the heart every step of the way. Every single note. We wanted to do something real and something different.

"If this album resonates with people, it's our honor share it with you. If someone isn't into it, no hard feelings. But nothing is going to change how WE feel about it. Our mission was accomplished. Feel free to hop on and enjoy the ride with us. We're just getting started."

Adds Wild: "I'm incredibly excited and honored to be part of DieHumane's debut album. I'm always interested in artists who create their own genre-defying brand of music, and DieHumane did just that with The Grotesque. Their music is incredibly dynamic, and goes from hauntingly beautiful to absolute destruction with everything in between. A true musical journey."

The Grotesque is out May 5. Pre-orders are available here.
