Winter Kills is a very important record for Devildriver. It's the first the band will be releasing on their new label home, Napalm Records, and they want to make a good first impression with their new bosses. Today, the band released their first single, and by the sound of it, I'd say they will be just fine:
If you've heard Devildriver before, the sound on this track is not surprising, it's almost expected, but hey, the riffs are good, the drums are great, and the vocals are solid. There is a great groove and I found myself headbanging. Basically, I'm into it. What do you think?
