DEFTONES Unveil Moody New Track, "Hearts/Wires"

A chill new jam from Deftones.

A chill new jam from Deftones.

It's a very gross day here in New York City, it's overcast, it's wet, there is very little sunlight. All of which to say it's the perfect environment in which to hear the new Deftones single, "Hearts/Wires."

The song was unveiled on BBC Radio's Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter, which also featured an interview with frontman Chino Moreno. It's not as heavy as some of the previous material, but works perfectly on a rainy day. You can hear the track at about 2:30 in the player below:

Pretty good right? Hear the band's previously released tracks: "Doomed User", and "Prayers/Triangles."

Gore comes out this Friday, April 8th. Get it on Amazon for $9.49.
