Competing US Gymnasts Perform To DISTURBED's "Sound Of Silence" Cover In Belgium

This cover is just never going to die.

This cover is just never going to die.

Disturbed released a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "Sound Of Silence" on their 2015 album Immortalized and we've never quite been able to escape it. The song has been used by NASA in a video of theirs, by a French ice skating team, on Dancing With The Stars, and was performed on Conan by Disturbed alongside an orchestra.

Now the song has been used by US gymnasts Emily Davis and Aubrey Rosilier in their performance at the 2018 World Acrobatic Gymnastics Championship in Antwerp, Belgium. The duo performed wonderfully and placed fifth in the competition overall. You can watch the video below and just accept the fact that Disturbed's version of "Sound Of Silence" will intermittently pop up for the foreseeable future.

Now if we could just get someone to popularize Nevermore's version of the song from 2000
