How Clouds is still unknown to the legions of metal fans out there, despite its 2014 masterpiece Doliu, is completely beyond me. The band features vocalists Jón Aldará (Barren Earth, Hamferð) and Pim Blankenstein (Officium Triste), keyboardist Kostas Panagiotou (ex-Crippled Black Phoenix), guitarists Déhà (Black Sin, Deos, God Enslavement) and Jarno Salomaa (Shape of Despair), and drummer/vocalist Daniel Neagoe (Shape of Despair, Sidious).
Clouds will be releasing its sophomore effort titled Departe on November 1, and the new song "How Can I Be There" is everything Doliu was and so much more. If you're looking for slow, morose, and absolutely gray, then you're in the right place. Oh, and as an added bonus, Shaun MacGowan of My Dying Bride will contribute violin tracks to Departe!
