Remember when we were talking about Cloudkicker putting up his new album Subsume for pre-order and stuff? Well it's out and totally (kinda) free (if you're into that sorta thing). It's also pretty good!
Ben Sharp, the mastermind behind Cloudkicker, really went all out for this release… and came up with some pretty "creative" names for the songs. Outside that I'm digging the music quite a bit; it's heavy and overall a solid listen through, though the second track could have been split up into several or simply not 16 minutes long. Good song, bad idea. Also, when you hit play the stream isn't broken; the first track just builds and builds forever so it's really quiet at first. Subsume is cool if you're into post-whatever. Not for me, but an enjoyable listen nonetheless.
