As we await Blut Aus Nord's followup to 2014's Memoria Vetusta III: Saturnian Poetry and Ævangelist's 2015 record Enthrall to the Void of Bliss, the duet has treated us to an abstract slice of black metal titled Codex Obscura Nomina. Blut Aus Nord's side is four tracks spanning about 19 minutes of a dissonance black metal ballet, while Ævangelist's effort is 21 minutes of a relentless, hellish images tossed right at your face without end.
