BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME Frontman Streams A New Song From His Solo Record

Mutilating worlds as one does.

Mutilating worlds as one does.

Between the Buried and Me frontman Tommy Rogers will be dropping his second solo record, Modern Noise, via Metal Blade on November 25 under the moniker Thomas Giles. Modern Noise was recorded by regular Between the Buried and Me producer Jamie King and even sees the band's former drummer Will Goodyear behind the kit for the sessions. Goodyear joined Giles on tour for the Pulse record but did not play on the record itself.

All that being said, take a listen to Giles' first single from the record "Mutilated World" below.

This reminds me a little of the slower songs and sections from Between the Buried and Me's Parallax records, but with a much smoother flow to it. Seeing how Pulse spans a whole slew of styles, from jams like this to mind-bogglingly progressive tech-fests, there's really no telling what Modern Noise will hold.
