This year is seeing really interesting all star groups forming, some of my favorites thus far being KXM and Devil You Know. Now I can add Akani to that list!
Akani is vocalist Jorge Rosado of Merauder, guitarist Anders Björler of At the Gates and Daniel Antonsson of Dimension Zero, bassist Victor Brandt of Entombed and drummer Anders Lowgren of Dead Reprise. With all the big names and big bands they come from, expectations for Akani's music is immediately set at an incredibly high bar… which they meet flawlessly.
