The last time Aegaeon released a new song was July 2013. Since then, the band parted ways with drummer Anthony Barone and teasers of a new album were few and far between. Fans began wondering what was to become of the group, with its shifting lineup and sparse updates.
Then on New Year's Day, the band posted the new song you can check out below! The band said via its Facebook page that it'll be making its return in 2016, so here's hoping this is a sign of a new album to come? Especially with new vocalist Julian Kersey- dude ripped it up on the track in 2013 and this one is no different.
Drummer Phil Cancilla is credited as performing drums on the track. Aside from Kersey, original bassist Nick Scott and original guitarist Sebastian Brown make up the current lineup of Aegaeon.
