Did you hear? Riff worshippers RWAKE are going to be releasing a new album, titled Rest, on Sept. 27 on Relapse Records. Rwake make really great slow and hard music, as is evidenced by 'It Was Beautiful, But Now It's Sour,' the first new available track off the upcoming album, now streaming on NPR.org. The song is entrancing in a way, brooding along, as if the soundtrack to a really creepy horror movie. If there is one thing Rwake can really do, is create atmosphere with their music. I am really pumped to hear the whole thing.
