Lars Ulrich, famous for notably not being a movie star, will appear in the upcoming film Radio Dreams. It's not Lars' first time being a thespian, you may recall his brief role in Get Him To The Greek where he played himself or that one time he starred opposite Nicole Kidman and Clive Owen.
Back to Radio Dreams though… the film was written by Iranian director Babak Jalali and is an "offbeat comedy" based on a screenplay written by Jalali where a radio station written named Mohsen Namjoo is trying to bring together Metallica and Iranian band Kabul Dreams.
I say good on Ulrich for getting out there and saying yes to this movie, because why not? Dude looks like he's having fun in the below gallery chronicling the filming process and I'm sure it was really exciting for Jalali to work together with Ulrich (and maybe vice versa).
No word on when the film is out. I for one would love to see this!
