Hey, did you know Slipknot and Tool released new albums this year? I know we barely covered them, so it was pretty easy to miss. But I assure you they did.
Those albums were so popular that according to data provider SEMrush by way of Loudwire, they were up there with the most searched albums of 2019 alongside artists like Taylor Swift and Kanye West.
The top 10 were:

- Tool – Fear Inoculum
- Melanie Martinez – K 12
- Madonna – Madame X
- Ed Sheeran – No. 6 Collaborations Project
- Chris Brown – Indigo
- Slipknot – We Are Not Your Kind
- Drake – Care Package
- Chance the Rapper – The Big Day
The list isn't terribly surprising, but I think Tool beating artists like Drake and Ed Sheeran is pretty crazy.
