Dave Grohl Challenges 10-Year-Old Nandi To Round 2 of Drum Off By Writing Her An Original Song

The ongoing "feud" between  Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and adorable 10-year-old musician Nandi Bushell has a new twist, with Dave Grohl releasing a new challenge to Nandi, an original track he wrote just for her! But first, let's rewind and remember how we all got here.

It started when Nandi posted a cover of "Everlong," along with a challenge to frontman Dave Grohl – “Mr. Grohl I would love to have a drum battle with you! I LOVE ‘Everlong’ it’s really hard to play as it’s so fast but so much FUN!!!" She did so great.

In turn, Grohl accepted the challenge and challenged Nandi to play a Them Crooked Vultures song. Nandi passed with flying colors, and Grohl conceded defeat. But the party isn't over yet.

Today, Grohl challenged Nandi to round 2. And this time, the stakes are higher. Because, Grohl isn't playing one of his old tunes, no he wrote an original song to challenge Nandi with. And, most adorable of all – THE SONG IS ABOUT NANDI BUSHELL! And, Grohl even got his daughters, who he affectionalty calls The Grohlettes, to do backing vocals.

I mean, how much cooler can the guy get? I can only imagine Nandi's reaction when saw this. Actually, I don't even have to imagine, because I just checked, and her parents recorded her reaction to seeing the video for the first time and honestly, I imagine if it was me seeing this, my reaction would be virtually the same.

"He wrote a song… about me!?!" Nandi reacts. We know! We can't believe it either. Nandi tweeted "I cant believe Mr. Grohl wrote a song about me!?! This is so so so #EPIC!! I think its the best song EVER, in the WORLD, EVER!!! Thank you so much Dave. You have raised the stakes to all instruments! I accept your next challenge! Thank you to the whole Grohl family!"

I feel like I'm living vicariously through her. Nandi, we hope you keep rocking for a long time to come! Kudos to Dave Grohl for continually being the coolest mother fucker in rock.
