Cattle Decapitation have only been getting better and better as the years go on, which means in theory their 2015 will be the best damn thing ever! Kind of like Office Space, but in reverse.
Yeah, 2015… but early 2015! So you really only have to wait like, 14 months or so. Look, I'm trying to be optimistic about the whole thing because if I had it may way they'd be churning out badass record after badass record every single year. I need me some deathgrind! Seriously though I'd rather the band take their sweet time and really craft something special to be out 2015 than rush some alright/piece o' crap out next year, you know? No point in publishing half good music! Vocalist for the group Travis Ryan told Blabbermouth:
"Since we got home from the Summer Slaughter Tour, the guys have been hard at work on new material! I actually go in next week to grab a quick runthrough of the first new track they have completed so I can start writing lyrics to it.
"I have heard the track and I hate to say anything just yet because we will be spending the next full year from now working on the next album, but I will say the stuff they're working on is intense. I can't wait to start writing lyrics to it and so far is in league with one of our current musical aspirations… to make fans of our last record shit themselves!
"We'll be taking a small break to play a few shows in our region with Eyehategod and our friends Strong Intention on their January tour!"
