Okay, maybe you're sick of hearing of this monumental Metallica performance in Antarctica this weekend, but I'm still not over it. We've shown you photos and even video footage of their entire set, but what's interesting to note is that in the process of doing this once-in-a-lifetime performance, Metallica set a new record.
According to the band, they are the only performers to play on each of the seven continents of the globe within a year. Quite a feat, if you really think about it, and an amazing way to end what was perhaps the busiest year in the band's entire 30+ year career.
