Newsted is a really real thing. It went from a small project to Jason Newsted's full time gig. He has a big management company backing his band and he's on a pretty big summer tour. Today, the promo blitz continues as Rolling Stone just premiered a new track from his band.
The title of the track is "Ampossible" and Newsted tells Rolling Stone that "it's a hyper-morphed take on the original TV theme song from the 1960s Mission: Impossible – a childhood favorite."
I guess I can hear it a bit but overall, I'm not too crazy about the song. I'm happy that Newsted has found peace and is energized about playing again, but personally, I'm not really feeling his output. How do you feel about it?
