Slayer guitarist Kerry King has left California and is now a resident of New York City, baby! King and his wife Ayesha King just bought a really nice apartment for $3.65 million in Tribeca, which Ayesha pointed in an Instagram post (via Blabbermouth) is home for her and "the best city on earth."
"I suppose it's time to tell you all that the King and I have moved to NYC ( back home for me, excited to be near my family again ). I figured I'd beat some acquaintance's friend buddy who it heard it from a guy to announce it and think he's cool. I served my time on the west coast for 18 years. Time to be back in the best city on earth."
Congrats to the couple on their new home! You can check out photos of the apartment here. It's really, really nice. As for King's music, he potentially has a new band with ex-Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph, ex-Pantera vocalist Phil Anselmo, and Exodus guitarist (and Slayer live mainstay) Gary Holt somewhere on the horizon.
