Two more metal legends have gotten the COVID-19 vaccine. Kiss guitarist and advocate for wearing a mask Paul Stanley has revealed he's received both vaccines for COVID-19. Stanley joins the ranks of vaccinated rockstars like Ozzy Osbourne and Alice Cooper, and millions of other Americans who have been vaccinated.
Stanley wrote on Twitter "I got my SECOND COVID SHOT this morning! So grateful and THRILLED. PLEASE, let's ALL stay safe as possible and continue to watch out for each other."
Additionally, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has also revealed that he's gotten the first dose of the vaccination.
In a new interview with Consequence Of Sound, Iommi revealed he has gotten the first of two vaccine shots. Asked how he's feeling. Iommi said "Hopefully okay. Funny enough, I had a blood test yesterday, and I also had my [COVID] virus vaccine jab yesterday, as well. I always have myself checked over regularly and try to keep on top of anything that might pop up. Of course, at my age, things pop up. But I feel fine and everything seems to be β touch wood β going all right at the moment."
As of right now, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) estimates nearly 40 million Americans have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while around 15 million are fully vaccinated.
