Thirty years ago today, the world lost one of it's most prolific guitarist, as Randy Rhoads died tragically as a result of an accidental plane crash during a test flight. Rhoads' influence on metal in his short life on this Earth is huge, as many cite him as a major influence. The dude practically saved Ozzy's career, after Ozzy was booted out of Black Sabbath and surely influenced many others to pick up the axe. Today, we salute you, Mr. Rhoads.
