Atreyu existed between 1998 and 2011, and then reunited in 2014 to release Long Live in 2015. The album was their first in six years, and it doesn't seem like it's going to be their only comeback album. While Atreyu hasn't said anything about the new album just yet, Avenged Sevenfold frontman M. Shadows said in a Reddit AMA that "I've heard the new Atreyu and its great… but you haven't. :)"
The only other hint we've got about a new album comes from an interview with guitarists Travis Miguel and Dan Jacobs from January.
As for what’s next for the band, Jacobs and Miguel confirm that a new album is in the works. Although, Jacobs says that “it’s still very new we haven’t really dove into it yet, that’s the next move.” Miguel interjects, “we have some ideas floating around, but nothing solid or concrete yet, but it’ll get there. There will be a tour after the new album its standard procedure.”
So 2018 certainly seems like it'll have a new Atreyu record, huh?
