The tech-metal wet dream known as BLOTTED SCIENCE recently announced they were going to rehearse some songs and maybe go on tour. We got really excited! Now, to wet our appetites even more, the band, which features shredmaster Ron Jarzombek (SPASTIC INK), bassist Alex Webster (CANNIBAL CORPSE) and drummer Charlie Zeleny (BEHOLD…THE ARCTOPUS) have released some footage of them rehearsing. CANNIBAL CORPSE is putting out a massive career retrospective three-disc DVD, "Centuries of Torment: The First 20 Years". In stores on July 8th, the DVD contains live footage, interviews with members from the past and present and a whole slew of other shit that would make priests and nuns vomit. Its basically one DVD that features a full length documentary produced by Denise Korycki (who also did the recent GOD FORBID DVD as well as the KILLSWITCH ENGAGE DVD). Peep the teaser below:

As soon as my buddies over at The Apparatus turned me onto BLOTTED SCIENCE, I was immediately hooked. Imagine MESHUGGAH with no vocals…and sicker. For the unitiated, BLOTTED SCIENCE features Ron Jarzombek of SPASTIC INK and MARTY FRIEDMAN fame, bassist Alex Webster (yes, that Alex Webster from CANNIBAL CORPSE), and drummer Charlie Zeleny (BEHOLD…THE ARCTOPUS). The band was basically just a concept in Jarzombek's head and was never really meant to be anything more than a studio session. Or…so…we thought!
