Kerim "Krimh" Lechner, former drummer for Decapitated and briefly the fill-in drummer for Behemoth in 2013, put out a killer solo record this year and has now decided it's time for him to try out for Slipknot! Wow.
Lechner took to YouTube on December 29 to post the following two covers of "People = Shit" and "Eyeless" following the departure of Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison. Lechner also makes it pretty known that the band aren't exactly looking for auditions right now, but he wanted to throw it out there anyway, saying:
"There is no official audition going on but I want to give it a shot just in case the band is searching for a new drummer. I have always liked this band and their music.
They influenced me quite a lot in my early years of drumming."
So who knows! Maybe they'll dig it. Vocalist Corey Taylor did say the band aren't dead and will be on to bigger and better things, so maybe Lechner is the dude to take 'em there! Anyway, about those videos…

Obviously we're gonna be a little bummed if Krimh gets it because he wasn't in our ten picks for Jordison's potential replacement, and we hate being wrong on the Internet. It makes us feel bad about ourselves.
