Watch: Kid Screams SPIRITBOX Cover On America's Got Talent, Gets Voted Through

Nine-year-old Harper did her version of "Holy Roller" and crushed it.

Nine-year-old Harper knocked the judges (and crowd) right onto their asses with her energetic cover of Spiritbox's "Holy Roller" last night on America's Got Talent. Clearly nobody expected the heavier screaming bits in the song, but hey – Harper got voted through and the judges were all smiles. Which is all that really counts, right? Congrats to Harper getting through, and we're looking forward to her hopefully covering another metal song!

As for Spiritbox, they've got eight new songs in the works that are pretty different from Eternal Blue, according to vocalist Courtney LaPlante in a recent interview. "They're really different to the songs on Eternal Blue," said vocalist Courtney LaPlante. "I think some people might even hate them. But that makes me excited. I thrive on negativity!"

"Eternal Blue spanned over two years. And so much happened over those years," added guitarist Mike Stringer. "Now we're different people with different tastes and it's nice to be able to sit down and be like, 'What do I want to hear? What do I enjoy?'"Advertisement. Scroll to continue reading.
