The benefit show for Exodus drummer Tom Hunting was held on July 17 at Holy Diver in Sacramento, CA. One highlight was The Boneless Ones covering Exodus' 1985 track "A Lesson In Violence" alongside Exodus guitarist Gary Holt, ex-Exodus guitarist Rick Hunolt, Forbidden guitarist Craig Locicero, Hirax vocalist Katon W. de Pena, and ex-Machine Head drummer Chris Kontos. Both Kontos and Locicero are also members of The Boneless Ones.
As for Hunting, he successfully underwent a full gastrectomy on July 12 to remove the cancerous gastric tumors discovered earlier this year and is doing well!
