Napalm Death bassist Shane Embury was unable to join the band for their performance at Brutal Assault 2023 due to unspecified health issues. While Embury's bass tech filled in for the majority of the show, Napalm Death was joined by the legendary Dan Lilker (ex-Brutal Truth, ex-Venomous Concept, ex-Nuclear Assault, etc.) for the classic track "Scum".
