Check out pro-shot footage of Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee performing the 2003 nü-metal hit "Bring Me To Life" on December 17 at the Vatican's annual Concerto Di Natale. And sure, the performance is fantastic and Lee sounds great, but can you even imagine explaining to someone in 2003 that the "WAKE ME UP INSIDE" song would someday be performed at the Pope's Christmas celebration?
Evanescence's Fallen, the album containing both "Bring Me To Life" and another major hit "My Immortal," was certified Diamond by the RIAA this December. To those unfamiliar, being certified Diamond means an album has sold 10 million copies in the United States.
