We've spoke about Turkish metal band Pitch Black Process before. A very unique act that brings the sounds of their land to the metal realm in a way we've never heard. They are back with a new EP titled, SIR, which will be available via 1877 PM
They just released a track from the EP, with a music video directed b Ender Mıhlar, a well-know Turkish movie and series director.
"Pitch Black Process interprets a poem, which its melody is anonymous, from the 16th century with their own sounds. With this significant work by “Muhyî” their aim is to contribute to bringing the culture of this land to the world scene, via building a bridge between east and west, using authentic instruments in their rock/metal sound.
It is a modern but also a folkloric song which blends traditional and authentic instruments with rock/metal elements; it is emotional, touching and sombre, but at the same time it's moving, encourages individuality and gives a sense of fight and battle."
