Mike McKenzie, responsible for the ear-destroyers we've come to know as Stomach Earth and The Red Chord, has taken on his most brutal project yet – a toilet training video for Sesame Street. According to McKenzie, he recruited his friends' kids for the video, and it was a lot of fun/surreal.
“A little while back I had the pleasure of doing a sound design project for Sesame Street. It was a little surreal, as I watched it as a kid, of course. I put this tune together with a bunch of sounds from my bathroom and some helpful yelling from my friends’ kids. I’ve had a lot of fun working on this project and other with the Skyrmish dudes. Special thanks to Olive Bevilacqua, Viola Magro and Mila Skyrme for their great little kid vocals!”
No word on if this track is a Red Chord single in disguise, but I feel like it might be.
