THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA Announces New Album Color Decay, Streams "Salt"

Plus a solid Zombie tour.

The Devil Wears Prada is now streaming their new single "Salt" off their coming record Color Decay, due out September 16. The record is The Devil Wears Prada's follow-up to their 2019 album The Act, or more recently their ZII EP released in 2021. Pre-orders for the record are available here.

"'Salt' is a song about trying to move forward and then feeling like nothing ever changes, even when you've seemingly done everything right," the band says. "It's the sort of feeling that makes you question every move you've ever made. Initially, the lyrics were just about having trouble writing songs for our new record, but soon, we realized that this feeling of fighting only to be stagnant and held down applies to so much more in our lives. It was really a breakthrough track and allowed us to dive in even deeper into what became Color Decay."

The Devil Wears Prada will hit the road starting this August to play both their Zombie and ZII EPs in full. The tour will feature Stray From The Path and Dying Wish as openers, and you can get those dates below. Considering how popular both the Zombie EPs are, I'd be pretty willing to bet this tour is going to sell out fast.

"We're hitting the road this August/September across North America and will be performing our two EPs Zombie and ZII, plus an additional set of greatest hits spanning our entire catalog. We are joined by two incredible bands: Stray From The Path and Dying Wish. We're so excited to be headlining again and will be bringing the best The Devil Wears Prada show you've ever seen. See you soon!"
