Sum 41 will release their final album Heaven :x: Hell on March 29 and is now streaming the metal-leaning new single "Rise Up". As promised, Heaven is all about the pop punk side of the band, while Hell leans into more of the Chuck/Does This Look Infected?-type stuff.
"Once I heard the music, I was confident enough to say, 'This is the record I'd like to go out on,'" said vocalist Deryck Whibley. "We've made a double album of pop punk and metal, and it makes sense. It took a long time for us to pave this lane for ourselves, but we did, and it's unique to us."
