I am really excited for this new more-metalcentric Poppy album I Disagree, which will be released on January 10 via Sumerian Records – yes the same Sumerian as The Faceless, Veil of Maya and the like. I think it's a good fit, and while I loved Poppy's 2018 album, Am I a Girl?, I also dig this evolution of her sound.
For example, the hook on "I Disagree" is still, ahem, poppy and something that can be consumed by the masses. Poppy is touring the States with Bring Me The Horizon. Here are the dates:
